Cafe

The old-fashioned Koivumäki Manor cafe and delicacy food and gift shop is open from Monday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm throughout the year. At winter time soup lunch at Manor Cafe. The cafe is fully licensed.

Step backwards in time and enjoy the historical setting and the over one hundred-year-old Art Nouveau manor house of the Ranin family. In our cafe, you can also see an exhibition of the products of the local Lignell & Piispanen distillery, and sample their liquors and brandy with coffee.

Lignell & Piispanen’s plant is at the location where a royal distillery was established in 1781. As a reminder of over 220 years of history, the premises today still host the distillery’s gigantic spirits tanks built inside a vault, holding tens of thousands of litres. This area in Koljonniemi is home to much of Finland's alcohol expertise. Today, Lignell & Piispanen is the only remaining company in the area to pursue this noble tradition from four centuries.

The manor delicacy food and gift shop sells organic coffees and teas, juices, organic marmalades, jams and jellies, local honey, garlic, sweets and biscuits, and also has a small range of gifts and souvenirs.
